Vlad Pavelin

Vladislav Pavelin is the Head Designer of RUSBARON and the pioneer behind Hyper-Gotika (Хайпер-Готика). His work is devoted to shaping a deeper language of dark elegance; one that fuses Slavic mythology with Gothic form to create a distinctly future-facing expression of Gothic design.

He was drawn to Slavic mythology and folklore for their shadowed atmosphere and their unflinching view of human nature. In these older stories, beauty and darkness are never separate, and identity is never singular. That complexity remains central to his design philosophy: every individual contains multiple selves, and adornment should reflect that depth.

For Pavelin, jewelry is never merely an accessory. It is the final element, the piece that brings a silhouette into completion. Based in Southern California for more than a decade, he has developed his perspective in dialogue with a wide range of artists, designers, and visual disciplines.

His approach is rooted in reconstruction rather than revival. By combining ancient art with contemporary technique, he continues to push Hyper-Gotika forward, giving new form to old forces, and carrying them into the future.
